It is already May 15, 2013 as I am writing this. I miss elbi. Here comes the last few weeks of summer. And in a short while, I will meet you again, my dear University. :)

The UPLB campus really leaves me in great awe, I mean c’mon the whole feel of the campus deserves at least 10 loud claps, right? Trust me, my photos doesn’t even give it half the justice it deserves. I just took this photos using my camera phone during random moments while I am wandering around the vicinity. 

Whenever people learn that I am studying at a far distance from home (Bulacan), they tend to encourage me to shift into the campuses around the Metro — UP Diliman and UP Manila. And I would always tell them, “why not UPLB? Trust me, once you go there, you’ll fall inlove with the place as well.”

Why do I love UPLB?

The number one thing is the fresh air thanks to the number of trees fairly distributed around the campus.

Next would have to be the life in Elbi. It really is the University Life, the independence… oh the independence. :) I really enjoy being free in this place.

The crowd. The ocean full of great and open minds. Should I even say more?

Ahh this place. I can’t even imagine myself abandoning this place, maybe because I never will. UPLB have molded me into who I am today, I have learned and earned so much from the place. & dude, I am not even close to graduating soon. Hahahaha. :)

I am excited to go back and fall inlove with this place all over again.

At dahil yata puro kainan ang una kong tips for UP Freshies, ito na sana ay makatulong ng lubusan.

• Umattend ng campus tour sa June 9! Medyo helpful ‘yun infairness. Tsaka syempre, kasama mo na blocmates mo.
• Umattend din ng convocation at almOSAlan, kaso boring ‘yun. At least may glimpse ka na ng UP!
• Okay lang umiyak nang dahil sa bagsak na lecture exam - lalo na sa Math 17. (Ayos lang talaga, promise! Bagsak ako nung first exam ko dyan).
• Since freshie ka pa, onting buildings lang naman siguro ang dapat mong tandaan. Mostly ‘yung nakapalibot kay Oble. Humarap ka kay Oble:  
•    sa kaliwa mo, ‘yun ang PhySci (Physical Sciences) building. Nandoon ang ComSci labs, Chem labs, Physics labs, ghost labs at iba pa. 
•    sa kanan mo, nandoon ang OUR (na dapat familiar ka na kasi dito nag-register and shit), ang building bago ang OUR ay ang CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) Annex 2 at ang after naman ng OUR ay ang CAS Annex 1.
•   sa likod ni Oble ay ang CAS building. :-)
• Ang CEM (College of Economics and Management) ay nasa tapat ng Raymundo Gate (UP Kanan).
• Ang CEAT (College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology) ay malayo (UP Kaliwa).
• ANG CDC (College of Development Communication) ay nasa kanan mo ‘pag ikaw ay nasa Carabao Park (‘yung may maraming Carabao). Sa kaliwa mo naman ay ang Administration building.
• Maraming parks sa UPLB! Ang Carabao Park ay ‘yung may maraming carabao statues, and Oblation Park (or O-Park) ay kung nasaan si Oblation at ang Freedom Park (or F-Park) ay ‘yung malaking park sa tapat ng Student Union building. (Promise kailangan mo ‘to para pag tinext mo ‘yung friends mo kung nasaan ka, ‘di ka magmukhang tanga)
• Mararanasan mong pumasok ng hindi naliligo. Promise, maraming gumagawa niyan pero ‘wag naman araw-araw, please.
• Marami rin nag-uulit ng damit. ‘Wag ma-conscious. :-) (Pero may classmate ako ‘nun every lab namin sa Chem naka-white na v-neck siya, sorry ‘di ko mapigilian banggitin)
• Sa pananamit, mas comfortable mag t-shirt kaysa mag-blouse.
• Pero ayos din mag-dress. :-)
• Umattend ng free concerts or concerts na may bayad! Sobrang sulit din!
• ‘Pag may after seven exams at gutom ka, kain muna sa 7-Eleven ng hotdog. Nakakabusog din ‘yun.
• Ahhh ang photocopy centers!! Ang LuminousCity ay nasa may Raymundo gate, ang Star at RMS ay nasa may Grove, right side, bandang lagpas ng 7-Eleven at LB Square, ang Fast & Easy ay nasa likod ng Ministop na nasa Grove, kaliwa, malapit sa KFC (shet).
• ‘WAG MONG TATANGKAIN MAG-WEDGE kung malayo ang class mo. Comfortable at stylish pa rin naman mag-flats.
• Sobrang nakakatulong ang study group! Kaso ‘wag ‘yung tipong kinabukasan na ‘yung exam niyo.
• Ayos din magkaroon ng friends lalo na sa Chemistry 17.1 (General Chemistry II Laboratory) dahil pwede kayong mangalap ng pre-laboratory reports sa mga friends niyo. ;>
• Nakakatulong ang past exercises or exams sa kahit anong subjects! Humingi at mag-hunting ng upperclass para rito.
• Masarap mag-McDo after ng 8 or 9 PM exam…. wala na kasi kayong choice kung saan pwede mag-dinner most likely.
• Malinis ang CR sa CEM, ‘wag matakot. Sa iba? No comment.
• Masarap tumambay sa S.U. Canteen kasama tropa. ‘Di kayo papaalisin ng mga naglilinis dun.
