UPLB SAMASINING to stage Eljay Deldoc’s Articulo Mortis
The University of the Philippines Los Baños, UPLB SAMASINING - the laboratory arm of the Department of Humanities (DHUM), and the Theatre Communication Class will stage Eljay Deldoc’s Articulo Mortis at the DL Umali Auditorium on February 15, 7PM, February 16, 7PM, February 17, 3PM and 7PM and February 18, 10AM and 3PM, as part of TANGHAL in the 1st Southern Tagalog Arts Festival.
Directed by Ron Biñas, Articulo Mortis is a new play that portrays the innumerable facets of death. From five different stories of five different people, the play will explore the two sides to this inevitable phenomenon: the side where we live and the other side where we shall continue living. The story is an interweaving of five women’s perspectives of their death in the midst of crossing the light. In an attempt to unveil the rationale behind their death, Vera, Sol, Isabel, Katha and Rita are gathered upon an unnamed space in a question of whether to accept their demise or plead for another chance – but will they do it?

UPLB Engineering Meet 2012 Cheerdance Competition *hingal* *hinga* *smile*
Kuha ito nung sabado kung saan naganap ang nasabing cheerdance competition. Ang tagal bago nag-umpisa dahil may coronation night pa ng Mr. and Ms. Engineering. Siguro nasa 10 o 11 na ng gabi siya nagumpisa. Oh well, masaya ako at nakita ko ang performances ng mga pepmates ko.
1st nga pala ang SELES tapos ERG tapos NG. ‘Yung iba pang orgs na kasali ay ACHES, SCHEMES, ESG, ENGSOC, CEO, UPCES, SAGES, at IESO.
